A perfect place for recreation. you can enjoy Boating , Bird watching and the nature trails on pebble track.
JAKHNI MATA TEMPLE
It is a temple situated on top of chandpur village dedicated to Devi latti jakhni. It is 5 km from palampur. This temple is easily accessible from palampur by road but road is steep you can check your driving skills or else go for a trek upto the temple and check your physical fitness. Temple is located at a point from where you can get view of entire Dhauladhar range and Palampur city.

It is art Gallery dedicated to eminent Painter artist sobha singh. It is situtated in Andreta village , around 15 km south of Palampur .He was a famous veteran painter. While you are on in Palampur a ride on the famous toy train is must. Buy a ticket from the station and get your seat. Do ride the train from Palampur to jogindernagar if you have less time then upto baijnath. you will get to see beauty of kangra valley .Glorious views enroute make this a spectacular ride.Its a single track and trains cross at bigger stations on the way.
